Meet Lexis

Lexis began as a legal question-answerer, built by CASA to help Nigerians understand their rights. She has since grown into one of the most grounded agents in the Agens family, less a chatbot, more a Nigerian legal intelligence engine in her own right. Where most agents answer from memory, Lexis answers from the law itself: her responses are anchored to a corpus of real Nigerian statutes, and she can cite the actual section that applies rather than guess. She is built to be your first stop before you hire a lawyer, not a replacement for one.

At her core is a legal research brain grounded in a library of Nigerian statutes, browsable in full and searchable by category, with a deep-dive mode that breaks any statute down into a plain overview, its key sections, and how it applies in practice. Around it runs her Case Builder, a guided memo generator that takes a real situation, employment, contract, or property, and produces a structured legal memorandum with statute citations, downloadable as a professional PDF. Beyond research, Lexis is a document factory: a deep library of tools that draft and analyze the agreements Nigerian businesses actually need, from NDAs, employment and service contracts, and partnership deeds to shareholder agreements, term sheets, leases, and demand letters, every one written against Nigerian law.

Lexis covers the ground most Nigerians never get affordable help with: company formation and CAC compliance, tax and regulatory checks, data privacy under the NDPR, foreign investment rules, dispute strategy, and arbitration. She helps you understand your position, know which laws apply, and walk into a lawyer's office prepared, with sharper questions and a clearer head.
